TUMI - PREMIER SILVER EXPLORER IN MEXICO
AND SWEDEN
Tumi Resources Limited trades on the TSX Venture Exchange under
the symbol "TM"
(TM.V for quotes through yahoo.com), on the Frankfurt Exchange under
symbol "TUY"
and in the United States on the Pink Sheets under symbol "TUMIF".
Tumi is a well-financed Vancouver-based
mineral exploration company, with management comprising highly
experienced accounting, financial, geological, mining engineering
and public relations personnel.
As a silver explorer, Tumi’s initial focus was Mexico, the
world’s biggest silver producer, where Tumi is continuing
advanced exploration to advance the La Trini project and seek new mineralization elsewhere.
Research for new silver projects led Tumi to the Bergslagen District
of south-central Sweden where Tumi has already made significant
acquisitions, including the historic Sala silver mine, making Tumi
a major claim holder in the district.

MEXICO - La Trini Silver Resource

Drilling at El Colorado, July 2009
In January 2005, Tumi acquired a 100% interest in the La
Trini mineral claim, located within the Hostotipaquillo
mining district, Jalisco State, Mexico.
Tumi has completed 50 reverse circulation drill holes in three programs with results including 18.3m averaging 3.1 g/t gold and 150 g/t silver in hole TRRC-6 and 24.4m averaging 6.4 g/t gold and 1,629 g/t silver in TRRC-32. A resource calculation was undertaken by an independent qualified geologist in keeping with NI43-101 requirements. The current resources are Indicated: 1,661,359 tonnes at 121 g/t Ag and 0.88 g/t Au and Inferred: 192,880 tonnes at 99 g/t Ag and 0.92 g/t Au.
Tumi has an exploration program underway in Sonora seeking a large low-grade precious metal system similar to La Herradura, La Choya and San Francisco mines.
The Company has also farmed out its 35,180 hectare Batamote concession to High Desert Gold Corporation. |
SWEDEN - Four Drill Ready Targets

Vitturn Induced Polarization (chargeability) Anomaly - Drill Ready
During 2006, Tumi staked numerous
silver projects in the Bergslagen District of Sweden,
located immediately to the north-west of Stockholm.
Bergslagen is a highly mineralized District and one of the
most important ore Districts in Europe, containing deposits
of iron, manganese, base-metal and silver sulphides. It is
host to the well known historic and current mines Sala, Falun,
Garpenberg and Zinkgruvan.
Tumi has staked the historic Sala mine which contained some
of the richest silver ores in the world and historic records
indicate that in excess of 200 million ozs of silver were produced. A phase 1 core drill program has been completed immediately to the west of the old mine totalling 2,282m in ten drill holes. Significant silver-zinc intercepts have been discovered in the first 3 holes including 9.85m at 203 g/t silver and 6.4% zinc and 22.1m at 34 g/t silver and 6.3% zinc in Hole 3.
An IP survey at Vitturn has defined a high chargeability-low resistivity anomaly exceeding 400m long. The anomaly lies along strike from known resource-grade mineralization discovered by another company and is drill ready. Tumi also has drill ready targets defined from airborne EM or ground IP in the Tomtebo and Jonsmossen Licences. Tumi has also farmed out two licence areas in Sweden to the Australian listed Goldsearch Limited.
